- This document is a complaint relating to the refusal of the University of Georgia to consider the admission applications of African-American residents of Georgia under the same terms and conditions as those of white applicants. It details the attempts of Hamilton E. Holmes and Charlayne A. Hunter to gain admission to the University of Georgia. The suit to be brought in response to the complaint sought a preliminary and permanent injunction against officials of the University System of Georgia from refusing to give all applicants equal consideration.
