- Copy of the testimony by Senator John C. Mclaurin before the Senate Commerce Committee of the United States Congress in 1963. Mclaurin, a senator from Mississippi, condemns the proposed public accommodation legislation. The legislation under consideration eventually became the 1964 Civil Rights Act. The folder also contains details about the relative African American populations of states in the United States, including a map of the country.
