- Image of a letter written to Benjamin Smith from Anne Braden. Braden asks Smith to use his influence with the National Lawyers Guild to attempt to keep Len Holt, a lawyer who represented and arranged for representation of thousands of arrested civil rights protestors, in the South. She expresses concern for what Holt's absence would mean to the Civil Rights Movement.
