- Image of the first page of a two-page letter from Carl Braden to Mr. and Mrs. Howard Shomer. In this letter Braden gives the Shomers the names of several people to meet during their upcoming trip to the South. Braden encourages the Shomers to visit the Southern Conference Educational Fund (SCEF) headquarters in New Orleans, Louisiana and see Jim Dombrowski, the executive director of SCEF.
