- Records collected by W. Webb Burke, director of the Mississippi State Sovereignty Commission, in January and February 1969. The file includes letters to and from the director and reports by investigators Fulton Tutor and L. E. Cole. Topics covered in the file include the Republic of New Africa; allegations of an African American man trying to reactivate a local Black Panther chapter; civil rights work in Greenwood, Hattiesburg, and Sardis, Mississippi; and the Medicaid program.
