- Report issued by the director of the Mississippi State Sovereignty Commission in June 1963. Activities of the commission included in the report are the publication of the pamphlet "In Unity There Is Strength"; work done by John C. Satterfield at the request of Senator James Eastland against proposed Civil Rights legislation; follow-up regarding an article printed in the U.S. News and World Report and in the Honolulu Advertiser; raises for staff members; monthly financial statements; production of the film "Oxford, U.S.A."; personnel updates; and an update on a report regarding violent crime. Also in the file are two pages with budget information.
