- Correspondence collected by the Mississippi Sovereignty Commission on requests for materials published by the commission. The commission provided copies of a 1963 speech by James Satterfield, professor at the University of Mississippi, speaking against civil rights legislation. The Sovereignty Commission provided copies of the tape to individuals and civic organizations throughout the state and around the country in an attempt to promote their position.
