- Correspondence collected by the Mississippi Sovereignty Commission between November 1962 and June 1963. The file contains requests for information addressed to various Mississippi officials and responses by the Sovereignty Commission. Many of the letters come from students seeking information on states' rights or segregation. Most requests were answered with various materials provided by the Sovereignty Commission. Also includes correspondence relating to the Sovereignty Commissions Speakers' Bureau which provided provided all-expense-paid speakers to communities in the North and in the East. Speakers promoted Mississippi and the work of the Sovereignty Commission.
