- Records collected by the Mississippi State Sovereignty Commission on the Mississippi Crime Commission. The file contains a letter recommending that coroners attend a state school conducted by the state crime lab; two versions of proposed comments by Mississippi governor Paul B. Johnson concerning commission recommendations; a letter requesting a crime report from the Federal Bureau of Investigation; contact information for members of the Crime Commission and various sub-committees; a request for Erle Johnston's attendance at a Crime Commission meeting; handwritten notes from a meeting; and notes about recommendations on wire tapping.
