- Records collected by the Mississippi Sovereignty Commission on Joseph Clarence Mouledous and his son, Mark. According to the article from the Tocsin Joseph Clarence Mouledous and his wife were employed by the American Friends Service Committee to run a civil rights project in San Francisco during the summer of 1964. Their son, Mark, was one of the participants in the project. Joseph Clarence Mouledous and his wife were professors in Kentucky. Joseph Clarence, who had studied at Louisiana State University, was identified as a communist in 1957 by a former communist party member who served as an informer for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
