- This memorandum summarizes the findings of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia in Civil Action No. 1333: Davis v. County School Board of Prince Edward County. The court found in favor of the County School Board, upholding segregation. The case later went before the United States Supreme Court and was judged with similar cases in Brown v.
