- Freeman A. Hrabowski recalls growing up in Birmingham, Alabama, and attending the Sixth Avenue Baptist Church. He remembers being arrested for marching in the Birmingham Children's Crusade in 1963, and the bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church. He also discusses attending Hampton University and later starting the Meyerhoff Scholars Program for African American men studying math and science.
