- A filmmaker in Chicago, Palazzolo was in Lincoln Park during the Democratic National Convention, snapping photos of the events taking place. There for the tear gassing, he witnessed the violent response of the police to the crowd using billy clubs and beating people. The third day, he filmed in Grant Park as protestors burnt the United States flag. He was later caught with the crowd and blocked by the National Guard.
