- Sultan Rahman Muhammad was born in Chicago in 1973. He is the great grandson of the Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad and the grandson of Jabir-Herbert Muhammad, the business and boxing manager of Muhammad Ali from 1966 to 1981. Muhammad has worked alongside community organizations as an advocate as well as teacher of Islam. He also became the Nation of Islam's national imam.
