- Description:
- Huseyin Abiba (b.1964) grew up in a military family that often moved including to Maryland. A math teacher at his high school introduced Abiba to Islam and offered to mentor him. After a period of time, he began to frequent a local Islamic center. Abiba officially converted to Islam at the end of high school. Recently, he served as the chief editor at IQRA' International Educational Foundation, an Islamic educational institution based in suburban Skokie, Illinois.
