- Description:
- Mohamed Elnatour was born in Rafah, Gaza Strip in 1961. He grew up in a refugee camp during the Israeli occupation. Elnatour left the Gaza Strip in order to attend college in Saudi Arabia where he worked as a teacher for a decade. Elnatour and his family moved to the U.S. in 1991. Elnatour served as the principal of the Islamic Community Center of Illinois from 2012 to 2017.
