- Dzafer Kulenovic was born in Düsseldorf, Germany, in 1965. He moved to the United States in 1974 after receiving several death threats from the Yugolsavian government. A Bosnian Muslim or Bosniak, Kulenovic was the son of nationalist who was assassinated in Munich in 1969.
