Description:: This audio recording features footage from a four day interview between Cathy Kershaw and Albert Bethune, Jr., Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune's grandson, Bethune-Cookman College's archivist, and the founder of the Bethune-Cookman College Gospel Choir. Albert Bethune, Jr. opens the interview by sharing his perceptions of civil rights and Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune's involvment in the civil rights movement. At 00:31:52, a man speaks about meeting Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, attending Bethune-Cookman high school and college, and directing his life.
