- This video features the dedication ceremony for the new women's dormitory, Joyner Hall, in honor of Marjorie Stewart Joyner, the inventor of the permanent wave machine, beautician, and trustee of Bethune-Cookman College. This video opens with remarks, followed by a choir performance, and presentation of the college flag to President Bronson. At 00:11:50, President Bronson introduces and presents Dr. Joyner with an award. At 00:15:01 and 00:25:00, Dr. Joyner gives remarks and an acceptance speech.
