- The program for the Twenty-First Annual Garnett-Nabrit Lectures (GNL) series, focusing on the theme of, "Facing Opportunity and Meeting Opposition." The GNL series, which started in 1958, is an annual minister's institute, honoring the legacies of J.M. Nabrit, the fourth president of American Baptist College and J.H. Garnett, a former dean of American Baptist College. Every year, religious leaders and scholars gather to address issues regarding religious leadership and service. This GNL features Dr. Roger L. Fredrickson, Dr. Artis Grant Kendrick, and Mrs. Sarah Rich Townsend.
