- The program for the Seventh Annual Garnett-Nabrit Lectures (GNL) series. The Garnett-Nabrit Lectures (GNL) series, which started in 1958, is an annual minister's institute, honoring the legacies of J.M. Nabrit, the fourth president of American Baptist College and J.H. Garnett, a former dean of American Baptist College. Every year, religious leaders and scholars gather to address issues regarding religious leadership and service. This GNL features Dr. H. Clarke Nabrit, Dr. Samuel Southard, and Dr. John M. Ellison.
