- News film clips of Mayor Meier at a press conference discussing the open housing march of August, 28, 1967. In the first clip he states that his office has been told that civil rights leaders in the city have tried unsuccessfully to dissuade Father Groppi from continuing these marches. In the second clip Maier asks citizens to abide by a voluntary curfew. The third clip shows Maier telling citizens to let the marchers demonstrate peacefully so as not to give Father Groppi more publicity.
