Murrell came to Milwaukee in the 1940's and became active in school issues through their children. They discuss We-Milwaukee, Eva's work with the Parent Teacher Association from 1962-1966, problems with the Milwaukee schools their children attended, busing, the desegregation decisions of 1976 and 1979, and African American immersion schools. - Metadata URL:
