- This recording opens with singer Bessie Jones' rendition of "Preachin the Blues" and an introduction of the program by Boyd Lewis. The entire program is a retrospective of Martin Luther King Jr and begins at 0:58. The program features audio from J.D. Winston of the Butler Street YMCA; Atlanta School Board President Dr. Benjamin Mays; Alabama State professor Benjamin Simms; Coretta Scott King; civil rights activist Dr. C.T. Vivian; Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young and of King himself. The program ends with a sign off by Boyd Lewis.
