Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968) was an American civil rights leader, and a Baptist minister. He received the Nobel Peace Price for his efforts to end racial discrimination by nonviolent means in 1964. King was assassinated in 1968 and is entombed next to his wife, Coretta Scott King (1927-2006), at the King Center in Atlanta, Georgia. - Metadata URL:
