- Report that a photographer was approached by ABC officials and the County Sheriff's office to produce photos of a beach wade-in that took place on June 24. The photographer believed they wanted blown up pictures to more easily identify police officers who protected integrationists in order that white segregationists could harass and threaten these officers.
