- Sixteen youths of the NAACP were arrested for conducting sit-ins at lunch counters in St. Augustine. This is the arrest of the St. Augustine Four. Goldie Eubanks and Robert Hayling visited the jail after the arrest. Bond was set at 100 dollars.
