- The United Florida KKK held a meeting at Lake Butler and announced that a large meeting in Savannah, GA will be held on July 30. The local police in Tampa continue to monitor two white brothers suspected of carrying explosives. Picketing continued in St. Augustine, Tallahassee, Ocala, and Gainesville.
