- Description:
- Lillie Belle Allen was from Aiken, South Carolina. On July 21, 1969, Lillie Belle and others were visiting the York, Pennsylvania area. During the visit, Ms Allen and friends encountered a group of armed individuals. Ms Allen was subsequently shot by a high powered rifle while moving from the back seat of the vehicle to the driver's seat in an attempt to escape danger. Ms Allen later died from her injuries.
