Calvin Reynolds, SRA. Parcel Appraisal Report (1962) by D.G. Nichols, Realtor. A West Appraisal (1963) by George M. West, Real Estate Appraiser. Identified in the photographs as the Gaylord Building, this property contained a new office building. The property was purchased as part of the Shore Drive Redevelopment Project meant to "revitalize" Greenville's downtown area, but which broke up a vibrant African American community and displaced over 250 African American families in the name of economic development.
