- Oral history interview with Dr. Andrew Best, a longtime health care provider of Greenville, North Carolina. In this interview, Dr. Best expresses the feelings he experienced when he came to eastern North Carolina and began his practice. He also discusses several incidents that he witnessed as a minority physician, the changes in health care that have occurred over the years, and the advances in public awareness of preventive health care. He specifically describes the preventive medicine education program he started in the 1950s. This interview covers the information pertinent to the years 1954 to 1963.
