In this interview, Dr. Best discusses his experiences at Meharry Medical College, his internship at the American Army Hospital in Tacoma, Washington, and his work as a doctor at Fort Bragg. He also describes the trials he had to undergo to establish his medical practice and documents several instances of racism he experienced.
