- Description:
- The Rev. Ralph David Abernathy, national director for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and Golden Frinks, state secretary for the SCLC, dedicate "Resurrection City #3" this afternoon. The march and rally was a protest against racial and political repression in eastern North Carolina. The main topic of the event was centered around Joan Little, who is charged in connection with the death of a Beaufort County jailer last year.
