- The Clifford "Baldy" Baldowski cartoon depicts four scenes. In the first, Fletcher Thompson is dancing and saying "Weltner is a quitter! Weltner is a quitter!" A book labeled "Fletcher Thompson's record" looms over his head. In the second frame, Charles Weltner hits Thompson over the head with the book. Thompson says "Weltner quit!" In the third scene, Weltner continues hitting Thompson while Thompson says "Quit! Quit! Quit!" In the final frame, Thompson is on the floor with Weltner over him and hitting him with his own record. Thompson says "Quit Weltner! Quit!"
