- The Clifford Baldowski cartoon depicts a housekeeper holding a vacuum and a broom and standing in a dilapidated hotel room. Cobwebs cover the room. Sheets have been placed over the furniture. There are empty alcohol bottles lying throughout the room. Both the maid and the man in the doorway wear campaign buttons with a donkey and an "'80" on them. A sign on the door to the room says "The Smoke Filled Room."
