- The Clifford Baldowski cartoon depicts the Georgia capitol dome as a magician whose show is called "How It's Done." He is placing a bill in his hat labeled "House." He is saying "Nuthin' up my sleeve folks!"; "Now you see it, now ya don't ! As it goes to committee! They can ham it up a bit--or get it out for a vote!"; "Count three--3 readings"; "When th' boys have it figured out, it passes!"; "An' the same trick is repeated in th' other house!"; and "Then the Governor gets in on the act!"The magician is acting out the scenes as he talks. In the last one, he is wearing Lester Maddox glasses and holding a piece of paper labeled "Sign here."
