Caption on photo reads: (AC14) ATLANTIC CITY, Aug. 21 -- THEY HOPE TO WIN SEATS AT CONVENTION -- Delegates from the Democratic Freedom party sit on luggage on the sidewalk outside their Atlantic City hotel waiting for rooms today shortly after their arrival at the site of the Democratic national convention. They claim the right to represent Mississippi at the convention, to the exclusion of the regular all-white Democratic delegation from that state. White girls are not delegation members.
