- Lutheran Church members march in a parade to celebrate the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Written on verso: Religious Parade for Racial Justice - Members of the congregation of the Lutheran Church of St. John the Evangelist of Brooklyn, N.Y., march along a neighborhood street to give thanks for the Civil Rights Act of 1964. 300 parishioners from two churches took part in the rally.
