The hearing was part of a series of events organized by the National Anti-Klan Network, an organization founded by the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Written on verso: Mr. John McCullum testifies at National Anti-Klan Network lobby to the racist violence he encountered in Carbonhill, Alabama in 1979 when parading Klansmen blasted him in the face with a shotgun.
