- Reverend Fred Taylor testifies at a special congressional briefing at the Justice Department. The hearing was part of a series of events organized by the National Anti-Klan Network, an organization founded by the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Written on verso: Rev. Fred D. Taylor, national director of chapters and affiliates for SCLC and a member of the National Anti-Klan Network, tells of the beating he received from a Georgia sheriff when he led a movement for justice for blacks in Wrightsville, Georgia in 1980.
