- Joseph and Evelyn Lowery are shown leading a march during the 28th Annual Southern Christian Leadership Conference Convention in Montgomery, Alabama. Written on verso: Processional leaves Dexter Avenue-King Memorial Baptist Church (background) and heads to the steps of the Alabama State Capitol in Montgomery for a ceremony to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the signing of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
