- This video features the 17th Annual SCLC/W.O.M.E.N. Drum Major for Justice Awards Dinner to recognize the anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. This video opens with a welcome from co-hosts Pamela Poitier and Beverly Poitier-Henderson, daughters of actor Sidney Poitier. This program includes presentations of the Drum Major for Justice Awards in the categories of Youth, Business, Sports, Government, Trailblazer, and Health/Teenage Pregnancy. Beginning at 01:06:42, Joseph E. Lowery presents the Trailblazer Award to Ruby Bridges. At 01:21:12, Evelyn G. Lowery presents Rosa Parks with an award to mark the 40th anniversary of the Montgomery bus boycott. This video concludes with closing remarks by Joseph E. Lowery, Coretta Scott King, and the singing of "We Shall Overcome".
