- This video features a voting rights meeting held in St. Petersburg, Florida and facilitated by Dr. Keith Jennings, the director of Count Every Vote 2004. This meeting opens with Dr. Jennings sharing the three stages of African American voters' experiences: 1) Securing the right to vote, 2) Maximizing minority participation and registration, 3) Making sure every vote counts and is counted. Meeting attendees address concerns on vote monitoring, voting resources, voter registration, and unjust voting conditions. Dr. Jennings provides training on how to be effective election monitors before, during, and after election periods.
