- This video features a voting rights forum, moderated by Dr. Keith Jennings, held in March 2005 to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery March. This video includes a debrief of previous elections, voting statistics analysis, and a panel discussion, in which panelists address the extension of the Voting Rights Act, the Voter Protection Act, provisional ballot counting, and strategic planning to eliminate voter discrimination and discrepancies. Speakers include Alabama politician Bobby Singleton, Tennessee politician Rossi Turner, Voices for Working Families representatives, Count Every Vote representatives, and other civil rights and voting rights advocates.
