- This video features proceedings from the 30th Annual SCLC/W.O.M.E.N. Drum Major for Justice Awards Dinner, hosted by Kenny Leon, on April 4, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. This video opens with the remainder of remarks from recipients of the "Leadership in Higher Education Award", commentary by Kenny Leon, and then the presentation of the "Environmental Justice Award" to Laura Turner Seydel. At 00:19:20, Evelyn G. Lowery presents the "Art and Humanitarian Award" to actor Cicely Tyson and then invites Christine King Farris (Martin Luther King, Jr.'s sister) to help her light candles in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. At 00:31:50, Joseph E. Lowery provides closing remarks and leads participants in joining hands and singing "We Shall Overcome".
