- This video features the proceedings of the 1985 Butler Street YMCA Annual Report Banquet event. The recording opens with Atlanta City Council President Marvin S. Arrington, Sr. introducing Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) President Joseph E. Lowery. In his speech, Lowery focuses his remarks on the subject of "using institutions to develop liberation lifestyles to finish the unfinished task". Alongside his remarks on liberation lifestyles, Lowery also warns about the societal dangers of "insidious insensitivity" and "invidious individualism". The recording continues with other speakers delivering the report of the YMCA nominating committee, a presentation by Atlanta City Council member Bill Campbell, and award presentations.
