- This video features Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) and SCLC/WOMEN events from 1990-1995 . This recording features a panel discussion on HIV/AIDS at which Joseph E. Lowery speaks followed by the introduction of SCLC/WOMEN's headquarters opening ceremony in November 1995 in which SCLC/WOMEN members, Marvin Arrington, Sr., political leaders, and SCLC members speak. This video also includes events from the 37th Annual SCLC Convention featuring the SCLC/WOMEN's Convention Luncheon, an awards ceremony, and a National "Stop the Killing, End the Violence" Memorial Quilt unveiling ceremony on August 18, 1994. The recording concludes with a "Stop the Killing, End the Violence" march, an oration performance on "Restoring the Sacredness of Human Life", and remarks from Walter E. Fauntroy.
