- This video features footage of various scheduled events that are part of the SCLC/W.O.M.E.N. Civil Rights Heritage Tour held on March 6-7, 1999. The video opens with tour attendees assembling in front of Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church, from which they proceed to march through the streets of Selma, Alabama to the Edmund Pettus Bridge. Footage then switches to tour attendees disembarking at the Viola Liuzzo memorial monument to hold a commemorative service. Johnnie Carr and several others speak at the service that is re-dedicating the monument which Evelyn G. Lowery mentions has been repeatedly vandalized. The video then switches to footage in Montgomery, Alabama, including views of Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church and the Alabama State Capitol. Then, the video shows footage of Tuskegee University's campus and closes with commentary from tour attendees and brief comments from Barbara Cross.
