- This video features a rally in Washington, D.C. marking the 42nd anniversary of the Brown v. Board of Education Supreme Court decision. This video begins with Joseph and Evelyn Lowery, Walter E. Fauntroy, and other demonstrators rallying in the streets of Washington, D.C. Maxine Waters. Dr. Elias Blake, and Walter E. Fauntroy give speeches about burying Plessy v. Ferguson and resurrecting Brown v. Board of Education to stop the miseducation of children and the injustices of education. At 00:09:07, Evelyn G. Lowery speaks about resurrecting justice in education and providing equal opportunities. At 00:13:41, Joseph E. Lowery speaks about the importance of equal access to quality education. This video concludes with a commitment to education equality, remarks from Rose Sanders (now known as Faya Ora Rose Toure), Roxine Gregory and youth leaders, and a benediction from Joseph E. Lowery.
