- Description:
- This video features footage of various scheduled events that are part of the SCLC/W.O.M.E.N. Civil Rights Heritage Tour. The video begins with footage of the tour group gathered around a tree planted in a crater left by a bomb outside the church residence of Robert S. Graetz, who pastored United (formerly Trinity) Lutheran Church in the 1950s. The video then switches to a luncheon event at which Evelyn G. Lowery speaks about the sites visited during the tour and invites two youth members of the tour to speak to the group. There is also footage on the bus with narration of the sites beings driven by, including a drive through the sites important to Black history in Tuskegee, Alabama.
